ECHINACEA BIG SKY SUNDOWN
Grower Notes:
Echinacea x 'Evan Saul' PP17659 is commonly referred to as Sundown Coneflower. It is part of the BIG SKY™ collection and is similar to BIG SKY™ Sunset, but with vigorous, taller stems. It features slightly fragrant orange-red blooms that attract bees, butterflies, birds and other beneficial pollinators. It blooms from midsummer to frost and is ideal for perennial borders, containers, and cut flower arrangements.
Coneflowers are eye-catching and a popular prairie perennial plant for many reasons. They are easy to grow and are heat and drought tolerant. They typically thrive in full sun, but if your summers are hotter than Hades then they could use a bit more shade and water to prevent burning.
